A Dream of Books and Tea
Follow us on our journey as my daughter and I struggle to realize our dream of starting our own business. Our dream is to own a spiritual bookstore and teahouse that offers services such as massage, reiki, yoga classes, tai chi, tarot readings, etc. Our obstacles are that we don't have money, I'm disabled with sometimes crippling anxiety, and my daughter is 15. It's a good thing we have a great sense of humor.

A Bit About Us
Hi, my name is Lisa and I'm a single mom of an amazing daughter. I spent most of my teen and adult life researching and exploring alternative medicine and pagan lifestyles. Those are not exclusive to one another mind you, they are just both passions of mine. Herbs, crystals, energy healing, Ayurveda, whole food healing, yoga, meditation, chakras, reflexology, and so much more. I do not consider myself a master of any, but knowledgable about many.

My daughter, Etain, has begun exploring herbal medicine as well as crystal, gem and mineral healing. Her focus right now is mainly in high school, but she does enjoy the alternative in her spare time. We enjoy what we fondly call geek hiking where we gather up herbs and stones alone our way. Sometimes we even seek out specific areas that we know might have particular minerals or plants. so, yeah, we are that sort of odd.

While we hope to one day have a storefront where we will be able to offer tea and personal customer service, we are going to be starting our store online. Times being what they are, pandemic and all, we figure it is probably a good start to offer assistance from a distance and then work our way toward more personal goals. Within these pages, I hope you will find the crystals, herbs, trinkets, books and information you are seeking.
